Since the 2008 vintage, this gran reserva has received only 90 scores from the world’s best critics. To make it, grapes are hand harvested from vineyards 650 metres above sea level. The high altitude keeps freshness in the fruit – a very important element of the process, given that a gran reserva must be aged for a minimum of five years before release.
