When it comes to introductions, moët chandon hardly needs one – this is the world’s most popular champagne. Every second, one of its corks pops somewhere on the planet. Established in 1743, the brand has the largest vineyard in champagne and is dedicated to herbicide and insecticide free practices. Matured for 30 months in house cellars, the réserve impériale is a pinot noir dominant blend features small percentages of pinot meunier and chardonnay for suppleness and finesse. Expect aromas of apricot and peach with hints of toasted nuts and gingerbread – plus a dash of fresh citrus.
