Description rizatriptan is highly effective for treating migraines. We advise using it alongside over the counter pain relief and anti sickness medications. Description directions take 1 tablet by placing on the tongue and allowing to dissolve. If you have an aura, wait until it subsides before taking rizatriptan. If your migraine persists after two hours, you may take another tablet. No more than two doses should be taken in any 24 hour period. Directions warnings like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The following side effects may happen with this medicine. During studies in adults, the most common side effects reported were dizziness, sleepiness and tiredness. Tell your doctor right away if you have symptoms of allergic reactions, serotonin syndrome, heart attack or stroke see the list below. In addition, tell your doctor if you experience any symptoms that suggest an allergic reaction such as a rash or itching after taking this medicine.
