Penhaligon's vaara edp is inspired by bertand duchaufour’s journey to jodhpur, india. Opening with notes of delicious carrot and coriander seed, creamy saffron and juicy quince, the fragrance moves into a floral heart, which incorporates notes of indian magnolia, moroccan rose absolute and a hint of peony, iris and freesia. The scent rests on a heady, seductive base of white musk, woods, tonka bean and benzoin resin, all of which are counterbalanced with the luscious sweetness of honey. L.m. Top notes quince, rosewater, carrot seed, coriander seed and saffron. Heart notes moroccan rose absolute, bulgarian rose oil, freesia, indian magnolia, peony, and iris. Base notes honey, white musk, cedarwood, sandalwood, benzoin resin and tonka bean.
