Gliding experience days this exhilarating gliding experience takes you up to the clouds and back as you coast above the most beautiful views of the english countryside. Enjoy a calm and relaxed flight whilst taking in the natural scenery and vast landscapes the countryside below has to offer. Once you have ascended to 2000 feet you will have time to absorb the picturesque views and even take control of the flight if you feel up to it!once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your gliding experience will begin with the necessary paperwork, covering the declaration of flight. Then, once the paperwork is complete you will meet the instructor and have a short safety briefing before getting ready for the main event! Once at the launch point you'll meet the launch marshal who is responsible for ensuring you get airborne. The glider will be taken up by a plane and once aloft, you can expect to glide from 2000 feet, which will take around 30 mins. You will be encouraged to take the controls yourself by the instructor if you feel comfortable, but it is of course entirely up to you.
