70cl 51% distillery bottling a special single cask release from ardbeg, matured in an ex oloroso sherry cask for 21 years. This is a single malt with bags of flavour that marries sweet and spice notes with a complex smokiness. There are aromas of christmas cake, walnut oil and leather on the nose, leading to a pungent smokiness with notes of honey glazed smoked bacon and toffee on the palate.
