Ciabot berton is a relatively small winery run by brother and sister team of marco and paola oberto. They make this wine from a number of vineyards in the celebrated la morra commune and age it in oak for two years. It's elegant and full bodied, with aromas of roses, truffle, blackcurrant and cinnamon. Try it with venison stew.
