70cl 47.1% elixir distillers bottled specially for whisky show old rare 2020, this 36 year old clynelish from the single malts of scotland's director's special range demonstrates what long ageing in a great cask can do to the distillery's waxy and fruity spirit. It's a complex dram, layering tropical fruit, spring flowers, citrus, spice and waxed oak flavours. A fitting tribute to the old rare whiskies available at the show.
