This wine is produced from vines originating from a heritage clone of syrah brought to new zealand approximately 150 years ago. When it comes to premium syrah that really shows a sense of place, it’s hard to find a better wine than this. Expect notes of olive tapenade, mulberries and spicy, gamey notes.
