We couldn’t give you a range of classic wines without a white burgundy – and you’ll hardly find a more typical iteration than this bottling made by cave de lugny. The largest producer in the mâconnais, they know chardonnay inside out, with more than 1180 hectares entirely dedicated to the variety. They age wines carefully to encourage vibrancy and complexity, and adhere to eco friendly practices too. Made exclusively from a selection of quality vineyards, this aromatic medium bodied wine shows citrus, honey, hazelnut and oak character. It’s delicious to drink on its own, but also try it with tapas, fish or roast chicken.
