Founded in 1887 and now owned by the prestigious bollinger family of champagne, langlois chateau is one of the most established names in crémant de loire. And this, a traditional method rosé fizz, shows off just what they can do with cabernet franc. Handpicked in small batches from chalky clay soils, the grapes are gently pressed then aged for a minimum of 18 months on lees once in bottle. A sip reveals fine bubbles, a full body and generous raspberry and blackcurrant flavours.
