T. Moraia is a modern tuscan producer crafting expressive super tuscan style reds from vineyards in the chianti hills. The 'perpiero' cuvée brings together sangiovese with small amounts of merlot and cabernet sauvignon for richness, balance and structure. The 2021 vintage is bold yet polished, with black cherry, plum, balsamic spice and a savoury undertone. Silky tannins and freshness from altitude make it a perfect food wine. Pair with wild boar ragu, mushroom risotto or aged pecorino.
