Sam mendes directs and writes this world war one oscar and bafta winning drama, starring colin firth, benedict cumberbatch and mark strong. The drama follows two young soldiers during wwi as they are sent on a dangerous mission that, if successfully carried out, could save the lives of 1,600 british men. Private schofield and private blake have been tasked with delivering a message across the enemy line which will save the battalion from a deadly ambush into which they are currently being lured.
