The ahead hi hat drop clutch is a high performance quick release hi hat drop clutch. This clutch has been designed to be used with professional level hi hat stands such as the ahead mach 1 series. The quick release mechanism has a spring loaded lock that slides on and off in less than a second. This allows you to change your timbre instantly during a performance. Incredibly easy to use. To drop the hi hat simply pull down on the lever arm. The hi hats can be re connected by stepping on the hi hat pedal.
