While the original hardware naturally reduced brightness above 8khz quantx lets you adjust this range from 4khz up to 16khz so you can make your reverb darker or brighter depending on your mix. Instead of using a simple filter it recreates how the original hardware shaped sound resulting in a more natural and musical tone. This means your reverb doesnt just sit behind your sound it blends in smoothly and adds depth without sounding harsh or artificial.
